Add embroidery lettering on-screen

If it is not essential to fit letters precisely to a certain area, you can type them directly on-screen as with a word processor. Current settings are used. You can also modify lettering objects directly on-screen to achieve various artistic effects.
To add embroidery lettering on-screen...
- Click the Lettering icon.
- Select a color from the Color toolbar.
- Click an insertion point and start typing. To start a new line, press Shift+Enter.
- Press Enter to complete.
Note
Baselines determine the shape of lettering objects in a design. You can place lettering on a straight horizontal or vertical line, curve lettering around a circle or arc, or digitize your own baseline.
